We’re giving ourselves a new look – a shiny new logo to grace our website, our office, our bumper stickers…in fact anywhere we can get away with putting it! It’s a new logo to get us out there and tell Canberra we exist. But we need you to help us choose! • iPhone/Apple Phone:We already know that the iPhone is true, but is a Linksys product. Of course, the idea of an Apple branded phone (note that iPhone is an Apple trademark in some Countries) is something that the Mac community is wanting, or at least feeding on various rumors. Now I don’t know if Apple will release their own phone or what kind of phone it would be (could even be a phone/PDA (or smart phone)), but it will be interesting if they do announce one at Macworld
• iPod video (full screen)Apple does have various patents which could relate to a full screen iPod video, especially controlling one. I don’t have much to say, but it would be interesting if Apple does release a full screen iPod video.
• iTVWe know it exists and also what connections it has (other than what exact wireless standard (or in the case of 802.11n, draft standard), but we don’t know what it’s software offers, what it’s hardware is or even what it’s real name is.Macworld could be when the iTV should really shine.
• AirportWill we see 802.11n Airport devices at Macworld? All we know is that the latest Intel Mac’s have 802.11n chip sets.
• Other stuffWe may see new displays or not. Seeing as the iSight is discontinued, there is a high chance (due to the iMac, MacBook Pro and the MacBook having iSights) that the screens could have built-in iSights.Software should see the 07 range of iWork and iLife (rumors are that iWork will have a spreadsheet application)
