Photo gallery update

Lights moving

After looking around and trying to think what to use for the photo gallery, a post by David Appleyard brought my attention to a photo blog software package called PixelPost. At this stage, the photoblog will not be open for a while as I need to create a template for PixelPost that matches the kjwebb.com design. I will let you know when the photoblog is open.

Investigating various photo gallerys

I am currently looking at the best way to go for publishing various photos I have taking. I have a flickr account at http://flickr.com/photos/kjwebb/ but I most likely won’t post all photos that I will publish to the net there as I prefer to have them located here on kjwebb.comI currently have Simplephotos on a test folder but this may change depending on my evaluations.I may even just finish developing my own photo viewer. If anyone has any suggestions, please post them here.

Comment spam

This blog has had 42 spam comments posted to it since I started using WordPress.Thankfully, I don’t have to deal with it as WordPress comes with the Akismet Spam plugin which sorts out what’s spam from what’s not spam.Wordpress comes with the plugin by default and you just need to visit WordPress.com and get an account so you have a code to use it with.
